Communicator with a focus on Audiovisual Production. She currently serves as an advisor at the Open Knowledge Office of the University of Costa Rica and is a member of the Open Science Subcommittee of the National Council of Rectors. Since 2010, she has coordinated the Institutional Repository team at the University of Costa Rica and provides training on open science, research data management, best practices in editorial management, and digital cultural heritage. She has been a member of the BIREDIAL-ISTEC Steering Committee since 2013.

Her areas of expertise include best practices in open science at universities and academic journal editorial management, research data management, and the use of open licenses in academic production.
