José Arturo Molina
Professor and Researcher, University of Costa Rica (Costa Rica)
Doctor and Master in Sciences with an emphasis in Bioinformatics, with training in Microbiology, Clinical Chemistry, and Mathematics, and honorary doctorate awarded by the International Organization for Inclusion and Quality Education (OIICE). He is currently a Professor and Scientific Researcher at the University of Costa Rica, collaborating as a researcher with the European Bioinformatics Institute (London, UK) and the Human Phenome Institute (Shanghai, China). Recipient of the 2024 Innovation in Microbiology Award (International Biocientífica) and the 2025 Professional Excellence Award.
He coordinates and has contributed to research, teaching, and training projects in data analysis in biosciences, pathogens (antimicrobial resistance), and human genomics.
