Get ready! TICAL2025 will take place from November 11 to 13

TICAL2025, RedCLARA's flagship event, will be held from November 11 to 13, 2025, at the Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Cariari, en San José. This new edition will bring together experts, academics, technology sector leaders, and representatives of national research and education networks from across Latin America and the Caribbean, establishing itself as a key space for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the promotion of digital transformation in the region.

The official TICAL2025 website is already available in three languages—Spanish, English, and Portuguese—at https://tical2025.redclara.net/es/. The portal offers key information about the event, including logistical details, a practical guide for visitors, updated news, and soon, the complete agenda and speaker profiles. The site is continuously updated to ensure access to relevant and timely content for those interested in participating in this edition.

TICAL2025 will include activities aimed at showcasing innovative projects driven by the academic and scientific community in the region. RedCLARA invites researchers, academics, and professionals from the Latin American digital ecosystem to stay tuned for upcoming updates, which will share details about the registration and participation process, keynote sessions, and initiatives that will be part of this major event.

As preparations move forward, TICAL2025 is shaping up to be a key event for strengthening digital transformation, fostering technological innovation, and promoting regional collaboration. This edition is supported by RedCONARE, the Advanced Research and Education Network of the National Council of University Presidents of Costa Rica, which plays an active role in enhancing digital capabilities and technological innovation in the country.

In line with the objectives of the EU-LAC Digital Alliance and the the BELLA II project led by RedCLARA, TICAL provides a forum for strategic dialogue and exchange of experiences among the NRENs members of RedCLARA on strengthening regional science, technology, and innovation; promotes the identification of common challenges and opportunities of digital transformation for the economic and social development of Latin America and the Caribbean, and seeks to identify the cornerstones for building a common development agenda based on digital.
