Master’s in Advanced Artificial Intelligence from the National University of Distance Education (UNED), Spain, Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, and degree in Mathematics Education from the Costa Rica Institute of Technology (TEC). She has extensive experience in managing and administering the Open Journal Systems (OJS) at the Costa Rica Institute of Technology (TEC), where she is also the editor of the journal Tecnología en Marcha and a member of CONARE’s Open Science Subcommittee.

Her areas of expertise include editorial management and scientific publishing, open science and open access, artificial intelligence applied to scientific communication, and visibility and metrics of scientific production.
