    Alejandro Lara Molina

    Cybersecurity and IT Services Engineer at REUNA (Chile).

    Telematics Engineer from the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María and holder of a Diploma in ICT Management from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

    He currently works as a Cybersecurity and IT Services Engineer at REUNA, the National Research and Education Network of Chile.

    He was a member of the Global eduroam Governance Committee (GeGC) from 2013 to 2017, responsible for eduroam deployments, COFRe (the identity federation), and other services for REUNA. His areas of expertise include cybersecurity, identity federation, and eduroam.

    In line with the objectives of the EU-LAC Digital Alliance and the the BELLA II project led by RedCLARA, TICAL provides a forum for strategic dialogue and exchange of experiences among the NRENs members of RedCLARA on strengthening regional science, technology, and innovation; promotes the identification of common challenges and opportunities of digital transformation for the economic and social development of Latin America and the Caribbean, and seeks to identify the cornerstones for building a common development agenda based on digital.
